Creative Anniversary Photos
This year, Reagan and Lincoln wanted to do something a little different for their anniversary photos—and I was immediately on board.
When Reagan reached out, she told me she was dreaming of a session that felt a bit more off-the-wall and irregular than the typical couple’s shoot. “Something fun and creative — if you have anything you’ve been wanting to shoot, we’re down for anything!” she said. I couldn’t say yes fast enough. We bounced around a few ideas, shared Pinterest boards, and eventually landed on a theme that included a vintage bike and a laid back, storytelling vibe. From there, everything fell perfectly into place.
I’ve worked with Reagan and Lincoln before, so having that trust already established made this shoot feel like a creative collaboration. They were up for anything, which made the experience so fun and free-flowing.
We lucked out with the most beautiful evening—lush green grass, soft hazy skies with a hint of blue, and even a hidden patch of dreamy purple wildflowers that felt like they were waiting just for us. The bike added such a whimsical, storytelling element to the session. It wasn’t just a prop—it became part of the narrative of their love, helping tell the story of a couple who’s still laughing, loving, and adventuring together.
They frolicked through fields, laid in the wildflowers, and giggled like teenagers in love. Every moment felt authentic, playful, and romantic.
Sessions like these are a reminder of why I love what I do. It’s always an honor when couples invite me back year after year to capture their love as it grows and evolves. I’m already looking forward to what we’ll create next time.
