Makenna and Bryson’s wedding day in Miramar Beach, Florida was nothing short of magical. With sunny skies, swaying palm trees, and crystal-blue waters, it was easy to see why Florida felt like the perfect place for them to begin their marriage.
Their day began in a stunning hotel as they got ready with their family and friends, soaking in every quiet, meaningful moment. One of the most heartfelt parts of the day was their private first look, where they shared personal vows with just the two of them. That intentional pause allowed us plenty of time afterward for relaxed, joy-filled couples portraits and family photos—no rushing, just genuine connection and celebration.
As the afternoon turned to evening, we made our way to their ceremony, which took place aboard a boat that set sail at sunset. With the gentle sound of water against the boat, seagulls gliding overhead, and the sky glowing in soft hues of gold and pink, Makenna and Bryson exchanged vows and officially became husband and wife. It was truly a scene straight out of a dream.
The celebration continued as we danced the night away, clinking glasses and taking in the breathtaking ocean views as the sun dipped below the horizon. The night ended with a sparkler exit, wrapping up their Florida wedding day in the most joyful way.
But their story didn’t stop there. One week later, Makenna and Bryson returned home to Nebraska to celebrate again—this time with local friends and family who couldn’t make the trip to Florida. Their open-house-style reception was the perfect complement to their destination wedding, allowing them to connect with loved ones and celebrate in a way that felt true to them.
It was such an honor to capture both parts of their wedding story. I absolutely love when couples choose to celebrate their marriage in a way that reflects who they are, and Makenna and Bryson did just that—beautifully and intentionally.
